18+ petition for video games in australia

EB games australia has put up a petition to put forward to the government for a 18+ rating in australia

This isnt for more violence in our video games but more to keep up with the rest of the civilised world

We (australia) and germany are one of the only two developed countries in the world that doesnt have a

18+ rating it makes sense that seeing as the average video gamer is in their 20's these days that we keep up.

Australian adults should be able to decide for themselves whats right for them.

People shouldn't vote numerous times. Then the Pollies just say: "Look at this guy! He voted 6 times so this isn't an accurate petition." Then they just change the subject to Climate Change or some other B.S. I'm telling you, if I was in government things would be different haha.

Microsoft have released Direct x11 for windows vista. DirectX runtime is essential component of Windows which allows software application to take advantage of the enhanced and latest technology in graphic processing unit (GPU) like the  58XX series from ATI and new Nvidea cards to come.

DirectX 11 is incorporated and bundled in Windows 7 so you don’t need to do anything with this. But Vista is DirectX 10 so update your Vista with the DirectX 11 by performing a Platform update.

Update your vista whether its 32 or 64 bit now. Click here for Direct x11

 Battlefield 3 (Q4 2010/Q1 2011) Direct X11

Earlier this year, DICE announced that Battlefield 3 was in development, but didn’t reveal much further, other than the game would feature the new Frostbite 2 engine. While the upcoming Bad Company 2 will be build using a version of Frostbite 1 which includes DX 11 support, it unfortunately won’t be present in the final version of the game.

Battlefield 3 on the other hand, will be build with Frostbite 2, and will include all the DX 11 bells and whistles, which should make the destruction and effects even more prominent. Look for BF3 late 2010 or early 2011 — depending on how successful Bad Company 2 on the PC is.

Ubisoft have finally patched Far Cry 2 with 1.03 after so long. Majestica will be getting back online to play the game the way it was meant from the start. Direct x10 support has been improved and graphics have been buffed vigorously.

There will be a dedicated server " Majestica Crew SYDNEY " running for 16 players from 12:00 noon till late, IP address is 124.179.79.242

Note: Earlier patches are needed ( 1.01, 1.02 ) for 1.03 to work
